Where are you?
We are based in Weipa and we charter Western Cape river systems and estauries, inshore reefs and rocky outcrops in and around Weipa. Weipa is approx 800km from Cairns by car or 1hr 20min via Qantaslink. We can pick you up from the airport or your accomodation?

How long should I come for?
We have charters suited to everyone so we can cater for 1/2 day or a week. We have private or shared charters available. We suggest a 1-3 days to make sure you have enough time to see as much as you can.

What do I bring?
Hat, sunsafe shirt, your fishing rod and tackle (unless you'd like to use our top range gear with our 'you break it, you replace it' policy. We supply lunch, cold drinks, coffee/tea. We also supply all the bait.

Will you teach me along the way?
Absolutely! Shane will impart all his knowledge and have you casting into the snags like a pro by the time you're finished. He is happy to share his knowledge, skills and experience so you get the best out of your charter and land as many as you can.

Can we bring alcohol?
Yes. We allow a few BYO cold beers onboard but we take no responsibility if you partake in too much. Charters will be cut short should your behaviour be in anyway unsafe or unpleasant to others with no refund. Amount of alcohol taken on board is at the skippers' discretion and if found to be in excess, the boat will not leave port. Please consider others on your charter.
